The 28 year old defender checked in this week after being released by Preston North End.
Speaking to the 'Tiser, Evans said; “Nicky is a quality player and we expect him to be exceptional. “It's not about money with him because he's earned good amounts in his career. It's about a challenge.."
“He was Preston's best player during his time with them. He was still doing his job very well in a struggling team and we know he will be a big asset for us.”
Hunt himself is looking forward to having a hopefulyl successful season; “I had offers from League One but it want to be somewhere I can win trophies, play well and get promoted." he said
“I think the chairman and the manager here know what they want and will go out of their way to get it. Where this club is now, and where it wants to be, persuaded me to come here.”
