"Every year is a challenge, especially after last year. There is added pressure but I like that. I like the big games, although they're all tough in our league because anybody can beat anybody. "I take each match in my stride. My confidence has grown. It's just a matter of keeping your concentration every game to really knuckle down and do well. Remember it's another tough test this year for everyone as well as me." Green told the Advertiser today.
Green heaped praise on his defensive partners of Nick Fenton and Ian Sharps. "They are great, they really help you out and it's great to play alongside them. They are like father figures. I'm inexperienced compared to them but if I can get a few more games under my belt then I won't be."
"I could maybe improve when I'm defending one on one and also my decision-making on things like when to go and when not to go. Just little things like that could make a huge difference to my game." he added.
