After Saturdays draw at Barnet left the Millers eight points off a play-off spot, Scott told Millersplayer ahead of tonights clash that he feels his side are close but need to get over that final hurdle to where they want to be.
"Saturday felt like a loss, we need to be winning games and second half we got plenty of balls in the box and we're solid at the back too, but it's just not there at the moment.
"We need players on the pitch to dominate others. We can do it from the sidelines but it needs to come from within and it's important that the players grasp that and know that everyone is affecting everyone else.
"I've done everything I can for these players and as staff we go out of our way to make sure everything is in place for them. If they want to make anything of themselves at this football club they've got to appreciate what they've got here. The grass isn't always greener everywhere else, they won`t get the care and attention at other clubs that they get here which they will only realise when they aren`t here."
Scott added: "There's going to be a definite change at what players are coming into this football club. Sometimes you want people who can be leaders and order people who will dominate the group.
"I think we've got players here that can do that but we haven't got enough."
