Boss Andy Scott told BBC Radio Sheffield today: "Jason is signing a one-year extension, he's reached the amount of games and Gareth is in the same boat."
Taylor, who's current contract is up in June has made 26 league appearances while Evans, injured for some of the campaign, has scored six goals in 21 games after joining on a one year deal from Bradford last summer.
"We're a little bit further away with Evo's contract with different clauses that means it's going to take longer", added Scott.
