Out of favour Taylor has signed a month's extension to his spell at Spotland and will stay with Dale until the end of January.
The Millers visit Spotland weather permitting in the New Year,Taylor will not be eligible to play against the Millers.
Meanwhile MillersMAD expects winger Adam Rundle to leave Don Valley and return to Rochdale after his month's spell came to an end.
