Taylor told the Advertiser: “I suppose I have had a battle to be appreciated but it's not as bad now and doesn't bother me to be honest. You need people to do the ugly things and I'm that type of player, I just get on with my job.
“The main thing is that the managers have liked me and I've kept contracts where I've been so hopefully I can kick on and stay here.
“Compared to previous years, there are a lot more older lads and seasoned pros here now who have been there and done it so we should be knocking on the door for going up," he added.
