The 23 year old told themillers.co.uk; "When a new manager comes in, it gives everyone a lift straight away, the players, the staff and the fans, It was hard for him as he was only with us the day before the Reading game."
“He's managed Millwall and Wolves and he's done very well. He's got a very good reputation and pedigree and all the lads are looking forward to working with him. We will see how it goes.”
Meanwhile he spoke of his own frustration of missing out on pre-season and late start to the season after recovering from surgery on an ankle problem.
"Every game I play, the fitter I feel, I'm just trying to stay on the pitch a bit longer, It's good to be in the team and it's my job to try and stay in the team."
"The manager is going to come in and give everyone a clean slate. We will work on things on the training ground and it's up to me and the other lads to show him what we can do."
