Life as a footballer isnt all bling, the lads are in for training on Christmas day ahead of the game against Darlington on Boxing day.
"We're in on Christmas Day morning at 9.30. We'll be in for a quick hour and then I can get home to spend a bit of time with my little 'un. As a footballer, you're get used to having your Christmas disrupted. I think I've only had one Christmas off and that was last year when I was at Chester. We hadn't been paid for three or four months and therefore the gaffer basically couldn't ask us to come in." he told the Advertiser.
"This time I will try and train harder in the morning so I can have a few more potatoes with my Christmas dinner!" he added.
Personally, I'd go with extra sprouts and you'll not get marked.....
