"It's been a hard week to be fair, we haven't taken our foot off the gas after last Saturday's performance, and we are not going to let Saturday affect us, we have a big game coming up.
"I've just been saying to the lads, and there has been a couple of fans down here, at training and obviously they are a bit upset, but I think the lads were looking not to get injured, as we have a big game coming up, but we will be trying to put right against Aldershot what wasn't there against Hereford.
"Saturday apart, since I got dropped I've come back in and hope I'll get picked for the weekend. I scored a few goals before Christmas, but I think personally I could have done a bit more, I'm putting more in now but not getting the goals, but hope they will come in the next two games."
The play-offs are not new to Kevin but he hopes this time round the result is different, he explained: "I was at Lincoln when we played Hereford, we lost in the away leg to them which was the second match, and there was a pitch invasion and I got trampled on, so I don't want to experience that again obviously, and hope its good memories this time."
As well as Kevin there are others in the Millers side with play-off experience which will hopefully help the younger players. "Yes I think it will help us, we have a few young players and we are going to have to help them out, but I would say a lot of these playoffs are a lottery to be honest.
"I was sub and came on for the last 10 minutes down there when we went one down we were chasing the game and they hit us on the counter, they have decent wide men and two decent forwards, if we can stop them we have an excellent chance."
