Whilst Knill has held talks with several players whom he'd like to fetch to the club, he's hesitant about giving too much away ahead of the players return to pre-season training on Friday.
"I think it's right that you go about it quietly before announcing who we have signed, I don't like speculation and neither do the players. It's healthy you turn the squad over though as most of the players become comfortable in the surroundings.
"I will be building my own squad and have my thoughts on how a squad should be put together, last season we performed at our best when we were athletic in midfield and that area won't change. Neither will there be a change from trying to play good football as that's how we got out of trouble last season."
As the youngsters returned to training today, Knill stressed the importance of the role's they had to play in the first team and concluded: "The players are back in on Friday but we will add to the squad as pre-season progresses and i'm looking forward to getting underway again."
