e.g. If you predict a team to finish 1st and they finish 1st you score 24 points and likewise if you predict a team to finish 24th and they finish 24th you get 24 point. At the other end of the scale if you predict a team to finish 1st and they finish 24th you get only 1 point....etc.
In addition, extra points will be earned from the following bonus categories:-
Top scorers: predict a team to score a hatful of goals and get 2 points for each one they score.
Leaky defence: predict a team that will let in lots of goals and get 2 points for each one they concede.
Biggest winner: predict the team that will have the biggest win and get a 64 point bonus. (biggest win determined by goal difference and then goals scored e.g. 7-1 is better than 6-0). If 2 teams have the same big win then bonus will be 32 points, 3 teams 16 points etc.
Biggest loser: same as biggest winner but predict the team who will suffer the heaviest defeat. Same rules apply.
D-Day: Predict the date on which the Millers will get off the bottom of the table. Get the date exact and get a 64 point bonus, within 15 days either way a 32 point bonus, within 30 days either way a 16 point bonus, and within 60 days either way an 8 point bonus. No bonus if your prediction is outside 60 days and no bonus for predicting the Millers will never get off the bottom.
Promo/Relegation bonus – If you predict a team to get promoted (1st,2nd,Play-off Winner) or relegated (21st,22nd,23rd,24th) and they do get promoted/relegated you will get a double point bonus (e.g. Predict a team to finish 1st but they finish 6th and win the play-offs you get 19 points for the prediction being 5 places off but that will be doubled to 38 with the promotion bonus. Predict a team to finish 24th and they do finish 24th then get 24 points for the prediction doubled to 48 points for the relegation bonus)
