The first round draw involves all 72 Football League clubs, with clubs split on a North/South basis and seeded on the basis of last season's league positions.
All clubs finishing 12th or higher in League One last season are seeded and will play against an unseeded team in round one, on August 23 or 24 , meaning the Millers will be facing an unseeded team from :- Barnsley, Blackpool, Chesterfield, Port Vale, Oldham Athletic, Scunthorpe United, Wrexham, Stockport County, Macclesfield Town, Lincoln City
Should we make it through to the second round, we have a chance of meeting one of the 12 Premiership teams not competing in Europe, As they will join the competition in round two, while the European participants will enter at the third round stage.
The final in February will again take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff with the new Wembley stadium unable to host a game at this time.
