Speaking in the Advertiser, Tony is urging fans to fill the New York Stadium for its first 100% capacity game against Hearts.
“The Hearts match gives us the potential for the first full house and we want to hit it. We want to show the neighbouring South Yorkshire sides that Rotherham United is a force to be reckoned with, that the town is behind us and that we really mean business. A big crowd will inspire the players and it would make for a terrific experience for the people who come along too." Tony said.
“We’ve created a four-sided colosseum and it's been designed so the sound will resonate. I think the fans, as well as the players, will be bowled over by the atmosphere and the more people we can get in, the better.” he added
Meanwhile he spoke about welcoming the players back for pre-season training; "I took the opportunity to introduce myself to the players and I must say I was really surprised by how fit and well they looked.”
Tickets tickets for the Hearts game are £12 for adults and £6 for concessions. They are available for season ticket holders from tomorrow morning at Mangham House. General sale starts next Saturday.
Pay on the day prices will be £2 extra.
