Andy was keen to impress and earn a longer deal, and today he has been rewarded with a deal to keep him with the Millers for the rest of the season.
Speaking to the clubs official website, the 36 year old said; "I have really enjoyed the month that I have had here and my main goal was to try and show the manager and his staff that I was worth a longer contract, Now that I have signed my next aim is to show that I am worth a place in the team on a regular basis."
"I was behind the rest of the squad in terms of fitness but now I have caught up a little. I played in a reserve game and I have been coming off the bench for 10-20 minutes which has been an enormous help. I am grateful for the opportunity and I am determined to show that I can still play football and help the club achieve its goals for the season." he added.
Liddell, looked back at Tuesday nights win at Grimsby; "We played really well and I thought we were reasonably comfortable throughout."
"Grimsby cannot have any arguments about the result or the penalty, which was a blatant handball. We were the better side, there were some good performances on the night and we deserved to win."
