"I didn't find it easy at first but I feel settled now; the lads have been great with me", he told the Star.
"Now I just want to win a place in the side and start playing on a regular basis. I don't mind where I play as long as I am in the team.
"It has been frustrating being on the bench but I just have to keep my head down and wait for my chance.Hopefully, if things go well, I could stay at Rotherham. Everyone has been brilliant with me and I am really enjoying it at the club."
Marshall also praised boss Ronnie Moore, adding: "He gives me constructive criticism all the time on where I need to improve my game and is really helping me in my career."
