Having only collected 1 point on the road this season, new boss Kenny Jackett is hoping the international break has had a positive affect on his squad.
One positive is Tom Adeyemi having missed the last five games has had some training under his belt since recovering from a quad injury.
“He’s fine and we’re hopeful now he can build up his fitness and make an impression for the club. That’s the reason he signed for us and he wants to do very well in the midfield area."
“He’s had enough training to be able to go in and what he needs now is a run of games. He needs a good run of games to show us the form that he was brought here for." Jackett told the clubs official site.
However, the Derby game might come too soon for midfielder Lee Frecklington, “He’s okay, his ankle is improving and he’s had a good week’s training, We’re pleased and I haven’t seen him as much as I’d have liked since I’ve been at the club and he’ll be an addition as and when he is back.”
Derby boss Steve Mclaren has his own injury problems, George Thorne remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a broken leg, with on-loan striker James Wilson also sidelined for the foreseeable future with knee problems.
Full back Cyrus Christie has been ruled out with a broken foot.
