Mendy deal falls through

The club today reports on it's official website that the Derby midfielder, 20, didn't sign in time for last Thursdays 5pm deadline, and the paperwork could not be pushed through to be cleared by the Football League.

The player played once for Grimsby in a loan deal earlier this season and now remains at Pride Park until the summer.
