Mills told the 'Tiser; "I seemed to get as much time on the ball at the back against Chesterfield as I did playing centre-midfield and I think being there has helped me. I saw plenty of the ball in the middle of the park. It helped sharpen my awareness."
"I enjoyed it at centre-half but I don't mind playing either midfield or at the back. It adds another dimension to my game. My confidence is high at the moment and I'm just happy to be playing."
