Chief operating officer Douglas said the club were now getting closer to a solution.
He told the Advertiser: “We are exploring one or two avenues we think might be causing the excessive queues. We did our own tests and thought that people might have been putting the cards in the wrong way but now we are now convinced that the problem isn't down to familiarity, or lack of, with the new system.
"There doesn't seem to be a problem with the matchday cards, it is just the season ticket cards.
“If people are queueing and missing kick-off then clearly that is not what we want. We would like people to get into the habit of coming earlier and avoiding the rush but we accept that there are many reasons people can't always arrive in good time."
Douglas also added that work is still being carried out on improving the tannoy system.
