The midfielder had been at the Hillsbrough outfit since he was 16 and is gutted about leaving the club, "I've had some great times at Hillsborough and Sunday was the best day I've ever had at the club. I still haven't got my voice back, it was such a highlight but such a low the next day." he said.
Despite struggling with injury over the last couple of years he is confident that will get a club and do well, "I can't see any reason why i can't go on and do well when I get my fitness back," he told todays Star.
