Last season he scored two goals in five appearences for the Southampton first team, and this serason has made three cup and league appearances as substitute.
Griffit was picked for the French Under 21 squad last season, an acheivement which only one other Frenchman who was English based made.
He is described as an attacking midfield player who can play on either wing or up front, although favours the right hand side, with good close control and an eye for goal. While appearing in Southampton reserves and the first team he has shown why he is highly rated.
