Both players have been offered new deals by Millers chairman Tony Stewart.
Le Fondre, the leading scorer in League Two with 15 goals, has 18 months left on his current deal while Taylor's contract expires at the end of the season.
"It is still down to them," Millers manager Ronnie Moore told The Star. "We have given them the offers and we are still waiting to see what happens."
Meanwhile, the squad has been sticking to gym work this week with the snow at Roundwood having frozen out any chance of training on the outdoor pitches.
Saturdays game at Gillingham looks highly doubtful.
