Millers v Leicester City - friendly preview

Atfer a hectic return to training two weeks ago, blending together a new look side but suffering injuries in the process and drawing a behind closed doors game with Stockport last Friday, Ronnie Moore looks to his players to impress as they go public for the first time since their Wembley loss in last seasons play-off final.
But forget about that, with alot of deadwood shown the exit door over the summer months and fresh faces arriving mainly across the back four and in midfield, Moore will be looking for the likes of Ryan Cresswell, Mark Bradley and full back pair Johnny Mullins and Tom Newey to show what they're about ahead of the August 7th kick off.
Of course pre-season is all about fitness and giving everyone a run out but Moore is likely to field all of his summer additions for much of tomorrow's game against Paolo Sousa's side. Marcus Marshall should play a part after a back injury prevented him from training last week. Cresswell and midfielder Jason Taylor also missed the Stockport run out at Manor Farm with minor knocks but are now fit again.
The Foxes have returned from their tour of Slovenia this weekend, which saw them finish with a strong 5-2 win over NK Aluminij. Sousa is likely to fetch all his first teamers to DVS but as the norm in these fixtures, things will tinker round over the 90 minutes.
It's anticipated there may be a few goals with the likes of DJ Campbell, Steve Howard, Matty Fryatt, Lloyd Dyer and Richie Wellens on display with Millers fans able to get a look at loanee Tom Elliott partnering last seasons leading scorer Adam Le Fondre.
Prices are a tenner and a fiver for concessions on the gate, kick off 7.45pm.
