“There’s still more to come, I can do a bit more in the game and I want more of that type of performance every week,” says the 26-year-old talking to the Star this week after a Man of the Match display against Peterborough last Saturday.
After slotting into the side a month ago and then cementing his place following an injury to Michael O'Connor, the former Fulham and Aberdeen man has been the star of the show in recent games and will be hoping to extend his Millers contract beyond January.
“In this division there are right times to pass the ball and right times to do other things,” he says. “It’s about getting the balance right and grasping that it’s not all about neat, pretty football. It’s a tough division and you have to adapt or it could be sink or swim.”
He added: “I’ve had my injury setbacks and this is a platform to go and perform and train hard every day.
“I was hoping I could get a run of games and, hopefully, I can go from strength-to-strength. When I’m enjoying it then you get the best out of me and I’m really enjoying it at the moment.”
