Harford was asked which players he would like to keep, and he revealed that Gary Montegomery will be offered a new contract.
He confirmed this with Radio Sheffield today, "He's impressed me in training, I obviously haven't seen him play in a game yet, I've heard good reports about him, he's shown a good attitude and he's one of the players I'd like to keep. I have seen him play in the past and he's potentially a very good goalkeeper."
However the other 4 out of contracat players will have to wait to find our thier fate. Paul Warne, Darren Garner, Andy Monkhouse and Rob Scott are all at the end of their current contracts in June.
Meanwhile Harford also revealed that some clubs are intrested in players that are already under contract, however he refused to name names as the players did'nt know at that time.

Harford was asked wether or not he would like to bring former Millers favorite Alan Lee back to Millmoor, "Alan Lee would'nt be the one of players I would be looking at no, because I think when you buy a player you have to have a certain type. The way I like to play is with a big lad with pace or somebody that is technically very very good. No disrespect to Alan because what he did at Rotherham United was fantastic."
