Loanee Kieffer Moore tells the clubs official website themillers.co.uk that the pre-season form is a good encouragement that the Millers can produce the goods to challenge at the top of League 1 come may.
“You can tell even though it's pre-season by the way that we've performed against the teams that we've played that we've got a very good chance."
“I feel like a different player now and I feel more headstrong. In the summer I spent a lot of time, not only on my physical fitness but on my mental strength as well, so I feel the best I've ever been.”
"I've really enjoyed it. I really enjoy playing football and the whole place has been amazing from the staff, to the players and the whole town really. It's been very welcoming and I know I'm going to be able to thrive here." the 24 year old added.
“I've got a target for goals in my head, but I'll keep them to myself. I know I'm going to get the game time it's just whether when it is and when it isn't. I'm going to be looking to score as many goals as I can.”
Moore bagged a goal in the Millers win over neighbours Barnsley at the weekend; “For me it was really good, I've enjoyed playing and it was mainly about getting that fitness because I know to be in this team you've got to be fit."
“I've got to a very good level of fitness where I can just keep going and the goals is a reward, but I think the way that I've played in other games is something that I've been happy with. We're a very fit bunch, very resilient and we'll work together to do the best we can this season.”
