Moore makes striker moves??

The rumours are doing the rounds in todays News Of The World, with them reporting that Ronnie Moore has made enquiries about Middlesborough's Malcolm Christie.

Those of you that use the MillersMad messageboard will know that I mentioned his name well over a week ago as a possibility, haing just come back from injury, Christie scored in his reserve team comeback against Sunderland.

Christie has been out of action for 10 months, after breaking his leg in training last Novemeber, the deal would help both the Millers and Christie in his attempt to get fit again.

The NOTW have Ronnie qouted as saying "I can't see Malcolm getting straight back into the Middlesborough team so he might as well get match fit playing at our level."

This could be a good rumour as the Millers have a good relationship with Boro.

Nick Chadwick

Todays Sunday People runs with the story that Ronnie has again approached Everton about Nick Chadwick again, The Millers made enquiries about his during the close season but Everton would not let him come.

Neil Mellor

And according to the People Ronnie has also made moves for Neil Mellor at Liverpool, Mellor was on loan at West Ham last season, and Crewe were also intrested in him at the start of this season.

Obviously any deal would be a loan deal, but with the current form of our forwards, we need something desperately. I would be happy with a couple of these if the Rumours are right, but hey some of this stuff is written just to fill the back pages!!
