The Millers look for only their fourth win ever and the first in 23 years in Kent tonight, and after recent away displays Moore says he might think twice about throwing too many men forward as they take on Gillingham.
"This season we have been a bit more adventurous away from home whereas last season we made ourselves difficult to break down and to beat," he said to BBC Radio Sheffield.
"It might be my fault that we have been a bit too adventurous, we have been trying to take it to teams.
"We tried to do that in the away games recently that we've lost and we've gone for it in all of them. At Stevenage they caught us on the break twice in the last five minutes.
"Maybe we might need to look at tempering it," added the boss, who's side could move into second spot with three points.
