Moore takes interest in Butler

The 26 year-old, who has had two spells with Scunthorpe United, was watched by Moore this week on trial in Rochdale's reserves against Blackburn Rovers.

Doncaster born Butler left Huddersfield in the summer and had a loan spell at Blackpool last season but is still currently without a club.

Moore is thought to be considering a few options as he loses Exodus Geohaghon this weekend after the game at Southend.
