Garner, speaking to The Star, expects that another former Miller in centre half Guy Branston will be out to give his former club a tough afternoon.
"It is a tight, compact ground, the fans are right on top of you and create an intimidating atmosphere and it will be a tough game, no doubt about it." said Garner.
"Guy Branston playing will add a bit of spice because he will definitely be up for it. He will want to get one over Ronnie Moore, so Rotherham will definitely have to watch out for him."
Darren says that he still looks out for the Millers results and boss Ronnie Moore is always going to be under pressure to deliver: "I always ask how the Millers get on and I'm delighted to see them doing well near the top and challenging for promotion.
"But I do think Ronnie Moore is in a difficult position though and, in a way, is fighting a losing battle," he says."The supporters obviously have a certain degree of expectation and want him to cruise to promotion, scoring plenty and not conceding any, because of what he achieved last time.
"If results don't go his way then the supporters may ask 'why have they brought him back?' so it is difficult.
"But I think they can do it, especially if they can keep hold of Adam Le Fondre." added the former midfielder.
