Last week it was reported that Williamson needed surgery to remove loose cartlidge from his nose, after he was taken to hospital with breathing problems. A virus has delayed that operation until at least Oct 18th.
However the Rotherham Star today reports that the midfielder has been re-admitted to hospital after a relapse.
Mick Harford told the paper, "They don't exactly know what's wrong with him, the doctors are baffled, He has had difficulty with his breathing and when I saw him last week he was having difficulty with his speech and couldn't speak properly. We are all thinking of him here and I intend to go and visit the lad today."
Williamson was today due to undergo a painful lumbar puncture which involves doctors taking fluid from the bottom of Williamsons back.
"Let's hope they can get to the bottom of it quickly and that Lee will soon be fit and well and able to be back with us," Harford added.
He told the clubs official website - themillers.co.uk "There will be someone coming in in the next couple of days, a striker and hopefully that will be concluded so that he will be in the squad by the end of the week."
As usual, Harford wouldnt give any clues on the player, "I don't want to reveal any names or details at this stage as it isn't fair to the player or other club. We are working at it at the moment and things are looking quite good. A fresh face around the place will give everyone a lift."
