More site talks next week

Speaking at last nights forum and with quotes from todays Tiser, Stewart told the Millers supporters "The money will come from the club, from grants and from the rental income from buildings on the site.

"They will create an income stream that will be reinvested back into Rotherham United. The total investment is between £20 million and £25 million and that is something I have not said before."

He added: "There are more talks next week and if everything eventually goes to plan, we could be on site with a completed ground in two years' time. The general estimation is a year for design, planning and consent and another year to build.

"Once we secure our preferred location, we will move at breakneck speed to achieve that.

"The stadium and the training ground are the right and left arm of the club and the harmonisation of both is important. I'm always impatient to get things done and we're working very hard so we'll be in a position to announce some exciting news soon."
