Tonge scored his first ever senior goal there three years ago and told the Tiser another goal and a win wouldn't go a miss on Monday.
“Macclesfield obviously holds good memories for me and I always look forward to going back. Touch wood, I don't usually have a bad game there and we usually win. The pitch is lovely and it's a tight ground. There are usually only a couple of thousand in but we take about 1,000 supporters with us and the fans make a fair bit of noise. They're a chirpy bunch and give you a bit of stick but it's good; I don't mind that.
“It's different when you're a young lad because you want to have your Christmas Day as normal, eat your pudding and things like that, but you can't. The older you get, the more it becomes the norm. You just have to be professional and you approach the Christmas games like you would any other. With a bit of luck Monday's match will be on and we can get another win and get a good run going through Christmas."
Tonge added: “We had a lot of luck last week but we've been due a bit because those sorts of games have been going against us (against Wimbledon); teams have been having only two or three shots against us and scoring. It's nice that's happened the other way for a change. Everyone was buzzing about the clean sheet too.”
