Speaking to Radio Sheffield in a live phone in last night, the Millers supremo Denis Coleman revealed that the club are looking to moving into a new £25million ground withen the borough.

Coleman told Radio Sheffield; "We're actively looking at having a new stadium. We are looking at a couple of pieces of land and also looking at how we can finance that and we're well into doing that."

Home for much longer?
"We're looking at how we can finance it at the moment. We've got plenty of ideas on that and we're working with a number of people. There are different ways of financing things, I finance projects all the time that are millions of pounds, doesn't mean to say that I've got millions of pounds in my pocket but there's ways of doing it." he added.

Coleman added that he is hopeful of having a new home by 2010, but also admitted that the club have its work cut out to achieve that goal; "We've got to know that we can secure this site first of all and then we need to know that we can finance it. So that will take a few months, we can get planning permission in the meantime."

"What we can't do is have a situation like the last board at Rotherham... they started the stand and the finances weren't in place to finish it. We've got to know that if we start it we can take it all the way through. Without us owning the land the club just cannot go forward. It's impossible."
