As the Millers currently prop up the Championship, we are in desperate need of
some new blood as Ronnie has been foiled so many times this season already.
Although the duo have gone on record saying 'they're no Roman Abramovic!' they although thay pledged to support the club both on and off the field, and they told todays Rotherham Star "Ronnie Moore will advise us on the right direction to take the club in."
Millington and Worthington will also be talking to Ronnie regarding his future at Millmoor, Ronnie told Football Heaven that he was still in the dark regarding it, but things are'nt about Ronnie Moore at the moment, the more important thing is Rotherham United as a club.
The new regime will be looking to improve Millmoor and there is the possibility of even locating to a new ground. Leader of Rotherham Council, Roger Stone was also at the press conference and said that although the council are unable to give a financial input, they would do as much as they could to help the club develop facilities for the local community.
Mike Worthington told the Star "We are so excited, this is a great opportunity for us. It is a dream to be able to help the club. We want to build a better future for the club either at Millmoor or at another location that would be better for the Millers and for the population at large."
"We have already held extremely positive discussions with Rotherham Borough Council about ways in which Millmoor, or even a new stadium, could be developed as a fantastic home for the club as well as a facility to be used and enjoyed by the wider community."
Worthington also told the press that they would be looking to strengthen the board if need be, so could that be an invite for the likes of Mssr's Freeman, Smallwood and Hull?
