New Stand earns plaudits.

The construction of the new west main stand is well underway now and with the third section of the stand now in place, fans can now start to see what it will look like when the building is completed.

The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) have funded half of the £3.3m
cost of project and came up to Millmoor last week to have a look around.

Matt Bartle, Facilities Project Manager from the FSIF told the clubs official site"I've been very impressed with the stand to date - both in the way it has been designed and the management of the overall project. The new stand is leading the way in the redevelopment of smaller grounds and moving Rotherham United forward."

Millers chief executive Phil Henson added: "This is a terrific boost for the club. We are making substantial progress with the stand, with the result that our fans are getting increasingly excited about taking up their seats."
