The Shots raced ahead as Anthony Charles and Peter Vincenti scored within the first 15 minutes but Le Fondre levelled it up with strikes either side of half time to earn a point.
"I don't want to be sitting around in League Two - I want to be successful," said Scott after yesterdays game saw him still waiting for his first win as boss.
"I want us to win the league and if we fall a little bit short and come second or third we can still achieve the ambition of being promoted. I said to the lads this was the first game of next season because it was important they showed the capability of doing what I want them to do.
"I think there are encouraging signs - the ingredients are there we just have to make the right mixture."
