The deal with Nike will last for 4 years and will see Nike take over the club shop and will re-vamp it before the start of next season. New club merchandise will be on sale alongside Nike products.
Millers Director of marketing David Veal told the clubs official website "This is a really good deal for the club and we hope the fans will be pleased with it. Not only do we get our traditional kit back but we get all the benefits of the Nike brand including the extensive range of high quality leisurewear. We are delighted to name Nike as our exclusive retail partner."
However, due to the lateness of the deal there could be some availability problems with the shirts. As other clubs normally sort thier kits out a lot earlier than the Millers deal has been done.

The club will also be running the new for old scheme on the new shirt as described at the forum, Veal told the Rotherham Star "We will honour our offer to take old shirts in part exchange but because Nike shirts are better quality and more expensive we will be asking for £20 plus the old shirt."
"However, we will ask fans who can afford it to pay the full retail price for the new shirt of £40 - the money is much needed," he added. "Old shirts, washed and ironed, will be donated to Millers fan living in Zambia. The current strip is proving highly popular with the Zambian Millers."
