After diggers carried out work on the old Gloystarne warehouse land, which was partly gutted by fire a few weeks ago, Stewart spoke to the Tiser and outlined that all the proposals were still on course.
"Nothing has changed and there have been no hiccups. The chart saying where we need to be has not been altered since day one.
"We are hitting our targets and we are reasonably comfortable. We can deliver this stadium in the timescale set. A lot things will happen in the run-up to Christmas", said TS.
"Hopefully in the next two to three weeks we can get outline planning consent and we will be able to say who the main contractors are. By November I hope we can start showing the site plans and visuals of the stadium itself.
"We need to start digging on the site by the end of February. That situation is still to unfold but it is just one of the many trip wires you encounter," added Stewart.
"I'm still having regular meetings with the council and the architects and we're able to call on the expertise of people who've seen it and done it as regards new stadia. Everything is going to plan."
