He explained: "There's no point in signing anyone if they aren't going to add to the squad.
"I've had a look at one or two players, but to be honest I don't see the point in bringing anyone in if they're no better than the strikers we already have.
"The lads we have here are good enough and if they can get a goal it will revive their confidence, which is the same for every striker. I've every faith in the lads we have up front."
"Saturday is another tough game for us. We have got to stop the run of defeats. We weren't good at Peterborough but it was better against Hereford and we did play well and dominated without actually scoring. I've no qualms about the quality of football.
"Hopefully we'll get those blips out of our system because we have some hard games coming up. We're looking forward to the Dons game because that defeat we suffered at home against them a few weeks ago is still fresh in our minds and we want to put the record straight."
