No striker deal lined up - Moore

With injuries to Ryan Taylor and Tom Pope, Moore's only other natural striking option to partner Adam Le Fondre is new loanee Tom Elliott.

And the boss admits things aren't going any better in his hunt for new blood, as he spoke to Millersplayer.

"We've got the young kid in Tom but he hasn't got that many goals. 'Im looking forward to working with him and hopefully I can make him a better striker than he is at the moment. When we've heard back from enquiries to other clubs they've all been eighteen year old kids.

"Maybe a couple of games into the season clubs will decide then and they might have had players who've fallen out or players who aren't going to figure, perhaps then there might be something to be done but at the moment we've hit a brick wall."
