Which seems an age away....
Earlier this month the EFL sent a letter to clubs stating that it expects that remaining games for this season will be played behind closed doors... Now assuming that happens, then the latest news will also mean that the start of next season will also be behind closed doors with fans only being able to watch via streams on Ifollow etc.
Clubs have been advised to not train until the middle of next month at the earliest, with the league restarting in June, and completed in an 8 week timescale.. Of course, this is all still to be confirmed...
If all goes to plan, the 2020/21 season will kick off in September, but to empty stadia.
