Youngster Alec Denton was the star of the first half as he netted twice as the Millers went in at the break 4 goals up.
Mark Bradley had opened the scoring from close range with a scrappy finish although the ball came off a defender, before Alex Revell smashed in, with Denton bagging his brace in between time.
Kayode Odejayi netted a fifth from Lionel Ainsworth's cross via the post before Daniel Nardiello completed the scoring.
The home side had their moments infront of a healthy crowd, with the Millers making token changes to their side throughout.
Trialist Scott Donnelly was involved in the heart of the midfield whilst youngster Mitch Rose looked impressive on the left.
The evergreen Paul Warne looked to enjoy his run out, starting at right back in the first half.
