"The players were no different to what I expected, We have some very good professionals at this club and they were bright in training and buoyant after the result on Saturday. There is enough characters in the dressing room not to let what has been a very good start to the season slip."
Also working with Steve are player Paul Warne and chief scout Alan Crawford; "It is good to have Alan around and he has been working well with the 'keepers. Warney is obviously a character and he gets the lads going," Steve said.
"Paul is now on both sides so he knows when to have a laugh and when to be serious and so far he has been different class." he added.
