Boss Scott has brought in nine new faces over the summer and sees his side start their promotion quest at Don Valley tomorrow afternoon.
And he told the Advertiser that he's focued more than ever on getting out of the division.
"I didn`t come here to sit in League Two. I don`t like League Two - I like League One", he said frankly.
"I've told the lads not to even think of second, third, fourth, fifth - think about winning it. I don't think I've had a team before who are capable of doing that. I had a fantastic group of players and staff at Brentford, but we over-achieved and won the league - we did it because we believed in ourselves.
"If we get this group to believe in themselves then there is no reason we shouldn't win it. With the pressure and expectations we'll be going into games not happy with a point but wanting to win. Teams may come and change the way they play against us and it's up to us to break them down and win games. That`s what I expect and what I quite like. I'd rather have to set teams up to go and win not lose."
Andy continued: "'We have to be able to compete first, make it difficult for other teams and mix up our game as well and the style of play will be markedly different from last year due to the quality we have got.
"I'm responsible for this football club and everything that goes on in it comes back to me. If something goes wrong then I feel personally responsible and want to do something about it. I want to win and the pressure is there to win all the time. Even if I wasn't at a club that wasn't expected to win, I'd still want to win.
"There`s pressure every single day but if you don`t want pressure then you shouldn`t be a football manager. I'm at a good football club with a fantastic Chairman and a board that back me all the way and it promises to be a great ride this season.
"Please come and get behind us."
