Pope sidelined for upto a month

After Millers striker Tom Pope picked up what looked to be a nasty injury in the weekends win at Macclesfield Town, Mark Robins speaking to the Star said:

"We won't know what it actually is until later today and we'll have a clearer idea how long he will be missing.

"But he's going to be out for at least a month to six weeks, I imagine, and so I felt it was right to look round and consider bringing someone in."

On selection of the team for tonights game, with Huddersfield Town in the Johnstone Paints Trophy, for which defender Nick Fenton may still be missing from the line up Robins said:
"I'll look at it and consider what we need to do to try and win against a team from a higher division"

Speculation is rife, with Robins being high amongst those being tipped for the Barnsley job.

Robins added: "It's not helpful and it's all speculation. I'm just getting on with my job here and don't want any distractions."
