The Millers head to the Crown Ground tonight to take on Accrington looking to secure a sixth league win in eight league games.
And Scott has sent out a warning to everyone that he means business.
“I’m here to improve and here to get better and for the team to keep moving forwards,” he said to the Star.
“We can’t afford to lose ground on anyone and we need to keep pushing forward. I don’t care if I fall out with people. I have no interest in that. I want to win the games and get promoted. That is the only focus for me. If I fall out with people, then at the end of the season when we are celebrating and have got a medal around their neck, I’m sure they will forgive me.
“My job is to get this club promoted and no one is going to stop me doing that.”
Ahead of tonight's game, Scotty added: “They are hard to play against and we have to approach it properly.
“Accrington had a slow start last year but came with a surge at the end. It is always a tough place to go so we won’t underestimate them, that’s for sure.”
