Reflecting on the weekends events that saw us promoted to League One, Paul explained: "Saturday felt like more of a relief that we’d made it because I thought with how we’d finished the season, if we didn’t win, it would have been a tough play off campaign, especially as it was all in our hands, it would have been tough mentally.
"The squad that the gaffer had put together over the summer was always more than capable of being promoted and the end of season form obviously showed that.
“I know a lot of the Rotherham fans and I’ve been with the club a long time now so I’m absolutely buzzing for them, and when I went to the dinner Saturday night it was good to see the staff behind the scenes and how happy they were.
“I was speaking to someone at the dinner who mentioned the away following and what a help that has been. Our support on the road this year has been amazing and our away record has been very good also, so the people who travel the country following the club deserve a mention too."
