Purrington looked back at his time with Plymouth; "I made my debut down there at 17, then I had a good few years when I got some appearances under my belt and in the last few years my game has really come along,”
"I've played a few games in central midfield, but predominantly I’m a left back and I feel that is my best position. I liked to get up and down the pitch, but get forward as a much as I can.
