Revell joined the club on deadline day, making the move North from Leyton Orient, and says he can't wait to get going.
Talking to Millersplayer, he said: "It was a hard decision to leave Leyton Orient and my wife is pregnant and expecting in a months time so its a big move, but I can`t wait to get going. I heard about it on the Monday and I spoke to the manager at Leyton Orient and it went from there.
"Rotherham United are a club massively moving in the right direction who are top of League Two and there's no better time to join the club - I want to come in and help the lads and help the gaffer."
Revell continued: "I want to show people what I can do and I want to be able to get hold of the ball and bring other people into play, as long as I can work hard and get us promoted then I'll be happy."
The Millers face the strikers former club Swindon at the weekend and Alex added: "It's been good when I've played against them before so hopefully I can carry that on. The lads had a great win on Saturday though so I might have to wait for my chance."
